Only sad in that the romantic in me still wants to believe in truth and decency over all. Otherwise, how does anyone trust anyone or anything.
I appreciate your “just observations…not necessarily principles” disclaimer, as winning formulas don’t always match up with good for people, planet and society.
I’ll keep being a romantic, though not a hopelessly blind one. Both in work, with clients, colleagues, and the people we’re creating for and communicating with, and in life, with friends, family and the all the random exchanges with the unfamiliar people I bump into throughout any given day.
Keep sharing insights like these, and we’ll all keep appreciating,
As mentioned, the hopeful side believes that while 74.6m people voted for the Joker, 71m people voted for Brand Kamala. She's is a woman and a person of color. Those are still very thick ceilings in the US to break through. She came so close. SO close.
the baggage carried over weights a lot. I find it unfortunate that the debate is about 2 people instead of concentre directions in governance, quality of life, care for the environment (= ourselves + nature). Then holding whoever wins accountable for the directions most voted.
More, instead of 2 people, 2 parties, it would be more helpful to have 5-7 parties.
thanks for sharing your insightful, meaningful thoughts. i felt these insights apply to marketing/branding spreading across social media (not all of them of course). people say be logical yet they don't necessary move / decide with facts but more with myth and defiance to stimulate anxiety. however, the facts say we are in a better place than before and the hope is there. i shall try to believe and act in that way.
Thank you for your comment. On social media, enragement creates engagement, unfortunately. Truth can be ugly and uncomfortable but hope will prevail one way or another.
