As a designer originally from Japan living in the NYC for past 20+ years, raising kids, I found your story very inspiring and encouraging. Thank you for sharing your story and you probably are one of the closest example that I feel there are lot of similarities to what I went thru.
I particularly feel the same about the WHY for Japan. I am too seeking a way to contribute to revitalize Japan while being one of the creative who chose to reside outside of Japan.
